CM Yogi braves rain to address public grievances at Janata Darshan
Gorakhpur : Despite heavy rain on Saturday morning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath upheld his commitment to public service by holding the Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, defying expectations of cancellation.

The event was smoothly shifted indoors to the auditorium of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, where proper seating was arranged. CM Yogi met nearly 300 people, patiently heard their grievances, and assured them that addressing public issues remains a top priority for his government.
CM Yogi handed over grievance petitions to concerned officials with clear directives to resolve every issue promptly, transparently, and satisfactorily.
Emphasising a zero-tolerance policy towards injustice, he assured the public that no individual would be wronged under his administration. He specifically instructed officials to avoid unnecessary delays in resolving police and revenue-related matters.
Taking serious note of complaints about land encroachments, the Chief Minister ordered strict action against land mafia and local bullies.
CM Yogi issued clear directives on police-related matters, emphasizing prompt FIR registration and strict adherence to legal procedures. For family disputes, he urged officials to prioritize resolution through mutual dialogue.
As seen in previous Janata Darshans, several people came seeking financial help for the treatment of serious illnesses. CM Yogi directed officials to expedite completion of the estimate process for their medical expenses and send it to the government. He assured that enough funds would be provided and no one’s treatment would be stopped due to lack of money.
The Chief Minister became emotional when he saw a partially disabled woman and her child who had come to Janata Darshan. He instructed the officials to resolve their issue immediately and to offer them tea.
During the event, the CM also lovingly interacted with other children who accompanied their parents. He blessed them, encouraged them to study well, and handed them chocolates.
Despite heavy rain on Saturday morning, CM Yogi’s routine at Gorakhnath Temple remained unchanged. He offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath, paid respects at the statue of his Gurudev Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath, and reviewed arrangements within the temple premises.
