121st Episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ – Stern Action Against Pahalgam Attack Culprits, India Emerges as Global Space Power: PM Narendra Modi

Jaipur : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation during the 121st episode of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, during his visit to Mumbai, also listened to the programme at Mumbai Airport.

In his address, PM Modi strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the attack reflects the desperation of those who shelter and sponsor terrorism. He pointed out that peace and democracy were gradually returning to Kashmir, but the enemies of the nation could not tolerate this progress and harmony. The Prime Minister assured the country that justice would be delivered to the victims and that the perpetrators and conspirators behind the attack would face the harshest punishment.

Paying tribute to the late space scientist Dr. K. Kasturirangan, PM Modi highlighted his invaluable contributions to India’s space journey. He also recalled the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Aryabhata satellite, emphasizing how India’s aspirations in space began with courage and determination. Today, he said, India has emerged as a global space power, having launched a record 104 satellites simultaneously and becoming the first country to land near the moon’s south pole.

The Prime Minister also spoke about India’s swift humanitarian response to the earthquake in Myanmar and the dispatch of vaccines to Afghanistan, underlining India’s growing identity as a global friend in times of crisis. He encouraged citizens to participate in the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign by planting more trees during the summer season.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma praised the PM’s address, describing it as a powerful reflection of India’s developmental journey. He stated that the Prime Minister’s impactful words motivate every citizen to actively contribute to nation-building. Sharma added that the programme continues to inspire collective progress with the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India).
