Akhilesh has no right to speak on Brahmins, as most atrocities happened under SP rule: Brajesh Pathak
Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav over his remarks on the Brahmin community.
Condemning Akhilesh’s politics as deeply rooted in casteism, Pathak accused the SP of spreading the poison of caste-based divisions in society. He asserted that Akhilesh has no moral right to speak on Brahmin issues, given the community’s treatment under SP rule.
Responding to Akhilesh Yadav’s press conference on Wednesday, Pathak recalled several incidents of violence and humiliation against Brahmins during the SP regime. He cited the brutal murder of Neeraj Mishra from Kannauj, and the public humiliation of the Vajpayee family in Etawah. Neeraj Mishra’s throat was slit and he was sent to Lucknow, the Deputy CM added.
He alleged that under SP governance, Brahmins were systematically targeted and mistreated across the state. Pathak further accused the SP of consistently attacking the Brahmin community and hurting their sentiments.
