Surprise Visit to District Hospital: CM Engages Warmly with Patients

Raipur : As part of the third phase of Su-Shasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai conducted a surprise inspection of the District Hospital in Mahasamund district today. During the visit, he reviewed the hospital’s operations and engaged warmly with patients to inquire about their well-being. Also present on the occasion were the state’s Food Minister and district in-charge Mr. Dayaldas Baghel, Member of Parliament Mrs. Roopkumari Choudhary, and Mahasamund MLA Mr. Yogeshwar Raju Sinha.

CM Sai personally spoke with patients admitted to the hospital, listening attentively to their concerns. Among those he met was 60-year-old Mr. Gangaram, who had been admitted due to weakness. Gangaram shared that after four days of treatment, he now feels much better and praised the hospital’s facilities, medical care, and the doctors’ conduct.

Following this, the Chief Minister visited the dialysis ward and interacted with patients suffering from kidney-related ailments. He had a compassionate conversation with Mr. Atul Chandrakar, who requires a kidney transplant. When Mr. Chandrakar appealed for help, CM Sai assured him that the government would cover the full cost of the transplant once a donor is arranged.

CM Sai instructed the hospital administration to ensure the highest quality of healthcare for all patients and warned that negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He emphasized that the state government gives top priority to healthcare, aiming to provide every citizen with accessible and quality medical treatment.

Also present were Collector Mr. Vinay Langeh, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ashutosh Singh, the Chief Medical and Health Officer, hospital staff, a large number of patients, and their families.
