Complaints on Nutrition Distribution Must Be Resolved Transparently: Deputy CM Diya Kumari

Jaipur — A review meeting of the Department of Women and Child Development (Directorates of Integrated Child Development Services and Women Empowerment) was held on Saturday at the Secretariat, chaired by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Diya Kumari.

During the meeting, the Deputy CM directed officials to provide maximum employment opportunities to women from self-help groups under the ‘I M Shakti’ initiative. She emphasized ensuring transparency in the distribution mechanism of sanitary napkins under the Udaan scheme and instructed that information about community marriages be uploaded on the department’s portal at least seven days in advance.

While discussing the Work-from-Home scheme, Diya Kumari instructed the development of a chatbot to enhance communication. She also directed that Amrita Haats be organized on a larger scale with increased participation of women.

Further, the Deputy CM instructed the prompt relocation of Anganwadi centers currently operating in rented buildings to school premises. She also stressed that complaints related to nutrition distribution must be addressed with complete transparency.
