Ensure housing for the underprivileged and medical care for those in need: CM Yogi
Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure housing for the underprivileged and medical care for those in need. CM Yogi issued the instruction during Janata Darshan held in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at Gorakhnath Temple.
CM Yogi said: “Include all deprived eligible individuals under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to ensure permanent housing for them, and also see that no needy person is denied treatment for lack of funds.”
He directed officials to fast-track hospital estimates and send them to the government, assuring that treatment funds would be provided through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Yogi Adityanath arrived in Gorakhpur on Sunday and stayed overnight at the Gorakhnath Temple. On Monday morning, he met around 150 people at Janata Darshan, attentively heard their grievances, and directed officials to resolve each case swiftly and sensitively, reaffirming the government’s commitment to public welfare.
“Addressing the concerns of every aggrieved citizen is the government’s top priority. is the top priority of the government. Each case must be addressed with sensitivity and prompt action,” he said.
The Chief Minister also took note of complaints related to land encroachment and ordered stringent legal action in such cases. He emphasized that if a victim continues to face harassment, a thorough investigation must be conducted, and accountability fixed.
Throughout the interaction, CM Yogi maintained a calm and compassionate demeanor, reassuring the public that their concerns would be addressed and there was no need for anxiety or distress. Applications submitted by the people were handed over to the concerned officials with clear directions for effective follow-up.
