A Nodal Officer will be appointed in each district to ensure transparent and dynamic implementation of the scheme. Collectors are instructed to monitor the entire process closely.
Brokers who offer services related to scheme documents or form filling will not be tolerated.
Mumbai : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has strongly advised that strict action should be taken against officers and employees who obstruct women in the process of obtaining necessary certificates and filling forms for the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. He emphasized the need for transparent and prompt processing, directing District Collectors to oversee the process and appoint nodal officers in every district.
Chief Minister Shinde also warned of strict action against office heads and brokers involved in fraudulent activities related to scheme documentation and form submission.
In response to the rush of applications, the deadline for enrollment has been extended to August 31, 2024. The Chief Minister chaired a meeting at Vidhan Bhavan yesterday, instructing officials to ensure transparent and efficient implementation of the scheme.
The state government has introduced several schemes aimed at transforming the lives of women. The decision to implement the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was swiftly made. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive Rs 1,500 per month, totaling Rs 18,000 annually. A provision of Rs 46,000 crore has been allocated for this initiative, which aims to empower women across the state.
Chief Minister Shri. Shinde has instructed the authorities to proceed with the implementation of the scheme without delay.
