Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu inaugurated the Sampoornata Abhiyan in the aspirational development block Gaurela

Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, Shri Tokhan Sahu today launched the Sampurnata Abhiyan in Gram Panchayat Sarabahra of Gaurela Vikaskhand under the Aspirational Vikaskhand, a priority of the Central and State Government. He said that under the Sampurnata Abhiyan, 100% achievement should be achieved on the 6 indicators directed by the NITI Aayog. Shri Sahu administered a pledge to the people present in the program to work towards making the block-district healthy, capable and prosperous by contributing to saturate all the indicators of the Sampurnata Abhiyan.

Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu said that the objective of Sampoornata Abhiyan is to ensure that all the beneficiaries of the aspiring blocks get 100% benefits of the schemes. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has focused on 6 indicators to fulfill the resolution of developed India. He asked to achieve 100% achievement on 6 indicators directed by Niti Aayog under Sampoornata Abhiyan. These include prenatal care during the first trimester, diabetes and high blood pressure check-up in the targeted population, regular check-up of pregnant women under ICDS program and distribution of supplementary nutrition to them, soil testing and providing revolving fund to self-help groups. On this occasion, a message based on pleasant changes in life was also broadcast by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Union Minister of State Mr. Sahu said that Prime Minister Mr. Modi is committed to public welfare and national development. In the first cabinet meeting itself, he decided to provide housing to 3 crore people. Along with this, he is continuously working towards public welfare including Kisan Samman Nidhi, Mahtari Vandan Yojana amount, gas connection provision under Ujjwala Yojana. Mr. Sahu made the people present in the program pledge to work towards making healthy, capable and prosperous block-district by contributing to fulfill all the indicators of Sampurnata Abhiyan. He visited the stalls set up by various departments at the venue and also signed the display board of Sampurnata Abhiyan.

On the occasion of the launch of Sampurnata Abhiyan, District Panchayat Chairman Mr. Arun Chauhan, Collector Mrs. Leena Kamlesh Mandavi, Superintendent of Police Mrs. Bhavna Gupta, Project Director DRDA Mr. Kaushal Prasad Tendulkar, Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Mr. Kanhaiya Rathore, Mr. Rakesh Chaturvedi, Mr. Mukesh Dubey, Mr. Brijlal Rathore, Mr. Gyanendra Upadhyay, Mr. Gopal Agarwal along with public representatives, dignitaries and a large number of women from the group were present.
