Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s Visit to New Delhi — Meets Union Home Minister Amit Shah
Congratulates Indian Armed Forces on Success of Operation Sindoor — Discusses Various Issues Including Cooperative Sector — Also Meets Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal — Holds Talks on Drainage Development, Drinking Water, Metro Expansion, and Transport Infrastructure
Jaipur : On Thursday, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah in New Delhi. During the meeting, CM Sharma extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Union Minister for the historic success of the Indian Armed Forces’ Operation Sindoor against terrorism.
Sharma briefed the Union Minister about the progress and innovations in Rajasthan’s cooperative sector. Discussions were held on key initiatives such as PACS computerization, “Mharo Khato Mharo Bank”, the Gopal Credit Card Scheme, and the ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’ (Prosperity Through Cooperation) campaign. He extended a formal invitation to Amit Shah for the proposed Cooperative Conference in Rajasthan to mark the International Year of Cooperatives. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude for the successful implementation of 54 initiatives under the ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi’ campaign.

Chief Minister Sharma also met Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Energy, Shri Manohar Lal. The discussion focused on urban drainage development, availability of drinking water, metro rail expansion, improved transportation systems, and various means to enhance power generation and supply across the state.
Sharma discussed expanding urban transport services across various districts of Rajasthan with the Housing and Urban Affairs Minister. He specifically requested approval under the joint venture model and early release of central assistance for Phase II of the Jaipur Metro Project.

During the meeting, Sharma also requested approval for a ₹1,368 crore Detailed Project Report (DPR) under the RDSS scheme for daytime power supply to agricultural consumers managed by the Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister urged the Union Energy Minister to expedite the implementation of 115 GW energy projects in Rajasthan and to direct CTUIL, CEA, MNRE, and other relevant agencies to prioritize development of the transmission infrastructure needed to evacuate an additional 50 GW of renewable energy.
Meetings with Union Ministers for Railways and Coal — Discussions on Key Developmental Issues
Chief Minister Sharma also held meetings with Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & IT, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. They discussed expansion of the railway network to improve public convenience and boost industrial growth, as well as strengthening digital connectivity and promoting innovation in the information and broadcasting sector.
Additionally, CM Sharma met with Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy. They held meaningful discussions on the sustainable development of mineral resources, investment opportunities, enhancing mining infrastructure, and ensuring coal supply for power plants in the state.
