Chief Minister Unveils ‘Savarkar Saurabh’ Souvenir
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai released the commemorative souvenir ‘Savarkar Saurabh’ at his official residence. The publication, dedicated to the life of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, was brought out by the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, on the occasion of Savarkar Jayanti.
Extending his heartfelt congratulations to the members of the Parishad, the Chief Minister said, “Veer Savarkar was a true son of the nation who endured immense hardships in the service of the motherland and ignited the flame of freedom. His courageous and inspiring life stories will continue to motivate generations.”
Mr. Prabhat Mishra, editor of ‘Savarkar Saurabh’ and the State Convener of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, informed the Chief Minister that the souvenir compiles edited narratives of significant events from Savarkar’s life. Various writers have contributed their perspectives on different aspects of his legacy.
Present at the occasion were several distinguished members of the Parishad including Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri Shivratan Gupta, Shri Manish Sharma, Shri Santosh Barlota, Shri Bhaskar Kinkhekar, Shri Abhay Mishra, and Shri Kaushal Sahu.
