Administration Should Resolve Citizens’ Issues Promptly: Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule

Nagpur : The state government implements various schemes for all sections of society. The administration must ensure that eligible citizens benefit from these schemes through proper and effective implementation and must also promptly resolve their related grievances, directed Revenue Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule during a Jan Samvad (Public Dialogue) program held here today.

During the Jan Samvad program organized at the Planning Bhavan, a total of 207 citizens submitted their issues and applications. Heads of various administrative departments were present on the occasion.

To ensure immediate resolution of citizens’ local-level problems and to address their concerns related to government offices swiftly, the Jan Samvad program was organized in the presence of the Guardian Minister.

Students, differently-abled persons, women, senior citizens, and individuals from various sections of society presented both personal and public grievances. After listening to their concerns, the Guardian Minister instructed department heads to take prompt action on their complaints. He specifically directed that immediate steps be taken on the health-related issues received during the session.

The Guardian Minister also instructed government departments to promptly resolve all pending matters that fall within legal provisions, without unnecessary delay. He added that a review of actions taken on today’s applications, grievances, and other matters will be conducted in the next session.

Citizens discussed issues related to access to welfare schemes, healthcare facilities, encroachment, problems faced by anganwadi workers and nurses, electricity distribution, agriculture, sports, and revenue matters. Sub-divisional officers, tehsildars, deputy tehsildars, and circle officers were also present at the event.
