CM Stalin Releases Four-Year Progress Anthology on State Legislature Session Day

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri M.K. Stalin, the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of Tamil Nadu has produced a commemorative publication entitled “Nāṭupārttum Nāṅkāṇḍu Cātāraṭṭum Itu Pallāṇḍu” (Four Years of Progress, Many More to Come). Today, the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri M.K. Stalin, released the four-year compilation at a ceremony held at the Senthamarai Kamalāḻar Auditorium on the occasion of State Legislature Session Day.

Since May 7, 2021, when the Honorable Chief Minister took office, the Government of Tamil Nadu has launched and implemented numerous welfare schemes to benefit diverse segments of the state’s population. These initiatives include the Kamalāḻar Women’s Empowerment Mission, Women’s “Vijayabharathi” Education Journey, “Nān Mudhal En” (I Am the First) Scheme, Innovation Award Program, “Tamilbathuḷen” (Tamil In My Heart) Scheme, Chief Minister’s Amma Nutritious Meal Scheme, “Makkal Muttrupadi Murrum” (People’s First Step) Health Scheme, “Innu Uyr Kaappom—Namamathu Kaappam” (Protecting Lives: Our Promise) Programs, Home-Based Primary Education (Illam Piṭṭik Kalvi), and Nutrition Security Guarantee Scheme. Additionally, the Chief Minister’s “Mann Uyir Kaathu—Mann Uyir Kaappom” (Protecting Land and Life) Initiative, “Nānnoṭu Maruntaḷanam” (Telemedicine) Scheme, among a total of forty-eight major welfare projects, have greatly advanced Tamil Nadu’s development.

At today’s ceremony, the Honorable Chief Minister noted that over the past four years, these programs have positively impacted the lives of citizens by ensuring access to essential services and uplifting marginalized groups. To commemorate these achievements, the Government’s Department of Information and Public Relations, through its publication unit “Tamizhāṟacu,” has prepared a special four-year anthology entitled “Nāṭupārttum Nāṅkāṇḍu Cātāraṭṭum Itu Pallāṇḍu.”

This anthology features a collection of essays and articles by prominent writers and experts. Included are:

  • “Tamil Eṅgaḷ Uyirukku Punar” (Tamil, the Pulse of Our Life) by journalist Shri P. Thirumavalavan
  • “Makaḻir Vīḻvil Makaḻcci” (Women’s Joy in Life) by Dr. S. Pakamakkan, Director, Tamil Nadu State Institute of Language Studies
  • “Aaim Kaakkum Āṭci” (Governance That Protects Mother) by Shri Selva Puviarasan, Assistant Director, Tamil Nadu State Institute of Language Studies
  • “Ōr En Uḻar Kaakkum Aracu” (Government That Protects a Single Soul) by Shri N. Sellappā, Content Specialist, Tamil Nadu State Institute of Language Studies
  • “Kalviyil Ciṇtaiṭṭa Tamilnādu” (Tamil Nadu, an Incubator of Educational Thought) by Shri T. Rājan, Content Specialist, Tamil Nadu State Institute of Language Studies
  • “Cātāral Sabarkum Tamilnādu” (Tamil Nadu that Shines on Earth) by Shri N. Rādharmash, Senior Journalist
  • “Indiya’s Vīḻvil Kaṇṭattin Meralāru” (Unfolding the Saga of Indian Democracy) by Shri Sūriya Krishnamūrthi, Editor, World Media Herald
  • “Vimalayātal Nijam Kaivaiyinai” (Beyond the Illusion of Reality) by Dr. B.M. Sudhīr
  • “Eḻārukkum Ellām: Tamilnādu’s Health Revolution” by Dr. P.M. Yāḻinī
  • Detailed descriptions of departmental reorganizations, public welfare schemes, their benefits, and impact across the state.

This anthology was officially released today by Honorable Chief Minister Shri M.K. Stalin at the State Legislature Session Day event. Among those present were Honorable Members of Parliament Shri C. Dhālār Thirumavalavan and Shri M. Bheṅcu, CPI Secretary Shri R. Muthuraj, IUML State Secretary Prof. B.M. Kathir Samāy Theen, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President Shri K. Selvaperunthagam, among other dignitaries.

Also in attendance were Honorable Ministers Shri M.Subramanian (Minister of Tamil Development and Information) and Shri M.A. Subramanian (Minister of Health and Family Welfare), Honorable Minister Shri P.B. Baḡar Bābū (Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments), Members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, Greater Chennai Corporation officials, local self-government representatives, Secretary of Tamil Development and Information Shri P. Rājarāman, I.A.S., Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations and Government Chief Information Officer Shri R. Methināthan, I.A.S., Director of Tamil Development Shri Avinash Arul, and other senior officials.
