Ladli Behna Beneficiaries to Receive Additional Amount as Raksha Bandhan Gift: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing the Women Self-Help Group Empowerment Conference in Mangawan, Rewa district, affirmed that no effort will be spared for the region’s development. He expressed pride in honoring the women of Rewa and reiterated that the Ladli Behna Yojana will continue uninterrupted. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, additional financial assistance will be provided under the scheme. The amount disbursed under this scheme will be increased to Rs. 3,000 over the next three years.

The Chief Minister stated that women are being given a 2% concession in property registration fees, resulting in 70% of properties being registered in women’s names over the past year. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to women empowerment, adding that self-help groups will also receive incentives for setting up industries. At the event, Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth Rs. 49.97 crore. He noted that Rewa is progressing rapidly and assured all possible support for the region’s development. Every farm in Rewa will be provided irrigation facilities. Farmers will be given electricity connections for irrigation at just Rs. 5. In the next three years, 32 lakh farmers will receive solar pumps, freeing them from electricity bills. Farmers will be able to use solar power for their needs, and the government will purchase surplus power from them.

The Chief Minister announced the construction of a Janpad Panchayat building in Gangev and a dam at Hinoti Gaudham. He also announced the construction of a stadium in Mangawan and the upgradation of the high school in Dewas to a higher secondary school. Additionally, a two-lane CC road will be built from Mangawan-Tiwani Mod to Prayagraj Road, covering a distance of 5.5 kilometers at a cost of Rs. 16.5 crore.

CM Dr. Yadav said he shares a special bond with Rewa, known worldwide for its white tigers and Sundarja mangoes. An IT Park is being developed in Rewa, akin to metropolitan cities, which will offer opportunities to talented youth. This year, 60 candidates from Madhya Pradesh cleared the UPSC examination—the highest number in the country. He emphasized that along with modernizing agriculture, special efforts will be made to boost milk production. Currently, Madhya Pradesh contributes 9% to the nation’s milk production, which will be increased to 20%. ‘Pashupalaks’ will receive subsidies, and the government will procure milk to benefit them. The goal is to make Madhya Pradesh the milk capital of India.

The Chief Minister highlighted, referring to national security that under the strong leadership of PM Shri Modi, Indian forces conducted Operation Sindoor, eliminating enemies inside their hideouts and destroying terrorist camps. He asserted that anyone threatening the nation would face a strong response.

CM Dr. Yadav pointed out that Madhya Pradesh is developing rapidly. In 2003, the state had only 5 medical colleges, which has now grown to 27, with 3 more to be added soon. The per capita annual income in the state has increased from Rs. 11,000 in 2003 to Rs. 1.52 lakh. Sandipani Vidyalayas are emerging as modern centers of education across the state, and this year’s Class 10 and 12 board exam results have been very encouraging.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that development works worth nearly Rs. 50 crore have been approved for the Mangawan assembly constituency. Local MLA Shri Narendra Prajapati’s consistent efforts to complete pending projects are now yielding results. Under CM Dr. Yadav’s leadership, the pace of development will continue to accelerate.

MP Shri Janardan Mishra mentioned that CM Dr. Yadav has sanctioned a six-lane overbridge and the development of Hinoti Gaudham in Mangawan, along with other approved infrastructure projects. Mangawan MLA Engineer Narendra Prajapati welcomed the guests at the event.

Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi-Pujan works worth Rs. control 49.97 crore by remote contril. He also distributed benefits to women SHG members. The event was attended by Gudh MLA Shri Nagendra Singh, Tyothar MLA Shri Siddharth Tiwari, and a large number of women and citizens.

CM Participates in Plantation Drive on the Eve of World Environment Day

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also planted saplings at the temple premises in Gangev Stadium, Mangawan constituency, on the eve of World Environment Day, spreading the message of environmental conservation. He administered a pledge to the attendees to protect the environment and urged everyone to plant at least one sapling and nurture it. He also offered prayers at the ancient Bamba Devi and Kali Mata temples near Baraiya pond.
