Prioritizes Grievances of Women, Differently-Abled, and Elderly; Directs Officials for Swift Redressal
Jaipur : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is working with utmost priority for the holistic development of four key sections — women, farmers, youth, and labourers. The Chief Minister is laying special emphasis on resolving the issues of these groups through his regular public hearings. These hearings have become a ray of hope for the complainants, with thousands presenting their grievances directly to the Chief Minister, who listens empathetically and ensures on-the-spot resolutions, thereby offering much-needed support.
On Monday, during a public hearing held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Shri Sharma personally listened in detail to the concerns of women, the differently-abled, the elderly, and people from various backgrounds. He directed officials to ensure immediate redressal of their issues.
Free Cancer Treatment for Patient in Need
During the hearing, a cancer patient named Premlata, who is struggling with financial constraints, informed the Chief Minister about the challenges she was facing in accessing treatment. Moved by her plight, the Chief Minister immediately instructed officials to facilitate her treatment without delay. Premlata will now receive free treatment for the life-threatening disease.
District Collectors Instructed to Hold Regular Hearings
Shri Sharma also directed officials that District Collectors must conduct regular public hearings to resolve local grievances efficiently. He emphasized that relief should be provided at the district level itself to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to the public. He further instructed that every grievance be addressed in a timely manner and that officials carry out public-related duties with full responsibility.
The Chief Minister also addressed and resolved issues on the spot related to various departments, including Social Justice and Empowerment, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Home, Revenue, Irrigation, Transport, Animal Husbandry, Jaipur Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, Education, Health, Drinking Water, MNREGA, and Energy.
