‘Rising Rajasthan’ a Key Pillar of Developed Rajasthan: CM Bhajanlal Sharma Directs Groundbreaking of ₹1 Lakh Crore Worth MoUs in July
Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that the investment- and industry-driven policies of the Rajasthan government are translating the MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit into real development on the ground. He highlighted that the groundbreaking of MoUs worth ₹3.25 lakh crore has significantly accelerated the state’s growth. He instructed officials to ensure groundbreaking for MoUs worth another ₹1 lakh crore in the upcoming month through coordinated efforts.
Shri Sharma was addressing a review meeting of MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Summit at his residence on Wednesday. He directed all department secretaries to maintain regular communication with investors and conduct periodic reviews of departmental MoUs to expedite responses and clearances.
Finalize Pending Policies by July 31
The Chief Minister emphasized that the Rising Rajasthan Summit is proving to be a strong pillar in fulfilling the vision of a developed Rajasthan. He said the summit has created an industrial environment that ensures maximum services and facilities for investors. He instructed officials to finalize all pending announced policies by July 31 and to issue remaining notifications for already announced policies by June 30.
Regular Monitoring of District-Level MoUs
Shri Sharma directed all District Collectors to promptly prepare reports related to land bank records. He asked departments to submit progress reports on MoUs signed at the district level and instructed district in-charge secretaries and departmental officers to regularly review these MoUs.
To streamline the land allocation process based on MoUs, the Chief Minister ordered the formation of a dedicated committee. This committee will help identify the land requirements of industries and investors according to signed MoUs.
During the meeting, Shri Sharma also reviewed key MoUs related to Civil Aviation, Tourism, IT & Communication, Urban Development & Housing, Agriculture, and Mining departments. Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant and officials from relevant departments were present, while District Collectors joined the meeting virtually.
