11th International Yoga Day Celebrated at Mantralaya
Mumbai : Yoga demonstrations were organized at the Trimurti Courtyard of the Mantralaya to mark the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Yoga.
The program saw the presence of Minister for Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of State Pankaj Bhoyar, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, and Co-Director of the Institute of Yoga Rishi Yogesh, along with several department secretaries, deputy secretaries, officials, and staff.
During the event, instructors from the Institute of Yoga guided the attendees through various yoga practices and explained the significance of yoga in daily life. Demonstrations of yoga postures such as Parvatasana and Shavasana were performed by participants.
In a special highlight, Mantralaya officials Jagannath Landge, Dattaram Sawant, and Yogita Jadhav, who are gold medal winners in the All India Civil Services Yoga Competition, also showcased their yoga skills during the session.
