Orange Alert Issued for Raigad, Ratnagiri and Pune Ghat Region; High Wave Warning for Konkan CoastState Emergency Operations Center Issues Advisory
Mumbai : An orange alert has been issued for the next 24 hours in Raigad, Ratnagiri, and the Pune Ghat region, while the flood situation across the state remains under control. The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has issued a high wave alert along the Konkan coast, advising small boats not to venture into the sea. Additionally, a landslide has occurred on the Sajjangad Fort route in Satara district, and clearing operations are currently underway, the State Emergency Operations Center has informed.
In the last 24 hours (up to the morning of June 22, 2025), the highest rainfall was recorded in Palghar district at 19.8 mm, followed by Ratnagiri (16.3 mm), Chandrapur (12.3 mm), Thane (11.1 mm), and Raigad (9.4 mm).
