Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight to Deliver Welfare Benefits to the Needy: CM Bhajanlal Sharma
Jaipur – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the state government is committed to ensuring the benefits of various welfare schemes reach the last person in society. To intensify this effort, a state-wide initiative titled “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada” will be observed from June 24 to July 9, with the goal of extending key government services and schemes to the underprivileged and needy.
CM Sharma emphasized that under this fortnight-long campaign, pending cases in the revenue department, such as land demarcation, boundary identification, and name transfers, will be resolved. Additionally, the Rural Development Department will link BPL families with various beneficial schemes under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme. The Panchayati Raj Department will focus on distributing ownership documents and repairing rainwater harvesting structures to strengthen water conservation efforts.
During the campaign, the Energy Department will address issues related to dangling electrical wires and poles. The PHED will issue pending water connections. The Agriculture Department will sanction support under the Micro Irrigation Scheme, including drip, mini, and sprinkler systems, and distribute Soil Health Cards. The Forest Department will distribute saplings and conduct plantation drives under the Hariyalo Rajasthan program.
CM Sharma added that the Food Department will settle pending cases under the National Food Security Act, seed Aadhaar for new eligible families and members, and facilitate e-KYC. The Animal Husbandry Department will provide livestock check-ups, treatments, and vaccinations. The Education Department will organize school admission festivals, initiate school upgradation, and fulfill other academic needs. The Higher Education Department will distribute scooters to deserving students. Other departments will also contribute by implementing their respective schemes to benefit the needy.
2–3 Camps Daily in Each Tehsil
As part of the Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada, 2 to 3 camps will be organized daily in every tehsil across Rajasthan. After each day’s camps, all departments will submit progress reports to the state government through the District Collector.
The Chief Minister concluded that this initiative, inspired by the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, aims to strengthen the state’s resolve to ensure no deserving citizen is left behind when it comes to availing the benefits of government welfare schemes.
