Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Offers Prayers to Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palanquin
Pandharpur : On the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Wakhari to pay his respects to the revered Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palanquin procession that had arrived from Alandi. Accompanied by Guardian Minister Jaykumar Gore, CM Fadnavis participated in the pilgrimage by ceremonially shouldering the palanquin and joining the “Dindi” procession.
The atmosphere was filled with devotion as chants of “Vitthala Mauli” echoed through the air, accompanied by the traditional beats of taal and mridang. The palanquin procession carried a deep spiritual fervor.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the chief trustee of the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palanquin, Yogi Niranjan Nath, welcomed Chief Minister Fadnavis with a sacred image of Shri Mauli.
During his visit, CM Fadnavis also inspected the facilities arranged by the district administration for the devotees and Warkaris at Wakhari. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for the comfort and convenience of the pilgrims.
The occasion was graced by the presence of several dignitaries including MLAs Samadhan Avatade and Gopichand Padalkar, Abhijit Patil, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar, Special Inspector General of Police Sunil Fulari, District Collector Kumar Aashirwad, Municipal Commissioner Sachin Ombase, CEO Kuldeep Jangam, Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni, former MLA Ram Satpute, and thousands of Warkaris and devotees.
