Jaipur : Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel conducted a surprise inspection on Monday at the Kudi Bhagtasni Community Health Center (CHC) in Jodhpur district to review the facility’s functioning.

During the inspection, Shri Patel found some staff members absent and irregularities in the hospital premises. He immediately summoned Joint Director Dr. Narendra Saxena and directed him to take swift action and submit a detailed report.

Shri Patel emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring that quality healthcare services reach the people. He urged all medical officers, doctors, and nursing staff to perform their duties with utmost seriousness and sensitivity. He further warned that negligence in patient care or hospital management will not be tolerated at any level.

The Minister inspected several departments including the General OPD, Labour Room, Injection and Dressing Room, ECG Room, Male and Female Wards, Immunization Room, Registration Register, and the medicine stock to assess overall arrangements and service delivery.

He instructed all hospital personnel to ensure timely attendance and provide efficient health services to patients. Shri Patel also directed a cleanliness drive to be conducted across the hospital premises and wards to maintain hygiene.

During his ward rounds, he interacted with patients and their attendants, gathering feedback on government schemes such as free medicines, free diagnostic tests, and other services provided under state health initiatives.

Shri Patel also instructed the Joint Director and Chief Medical and Health Officer to increase the frequency of surprise inspections at medical institutions in the region. He stressed the need to ensure proper functioning of the registration counter, availability of essential supplies, and access to clean drinking water.
