Eastern Railways introduces more Shravani Mela Special Trains across different sectors.

As the Shravani Mela approaches its culmination, Eastern Railway simultaneously is all set to provide a seamless transportation of the devotees from across the nation. In the process has introduced the following trains:

• Two Shravani Mela Special to run between Bhagalpur & Ranchi –

To clear the expected rush of passengers, Railway has decided to operate 2 (two) Shravani Mela special between Bhagalpur & Ranchi. This special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Mela period.

08646: Ranchi – Bhagalpur Shravani Mela Special will leave Ranchi at 23:00 hours. on every Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday between 10.07.2025 & 10.08.2025 (14 trips) to reach Bhagalpur at 12:05 hours on the next day;

08645: Bhagalpur – Ranchi Shravani Mela Special will leave Bhagalpur at 13:10 hours on every Friday, Monday and Wednesday between 11.07.2025 & 11.08.2025 (14 trips) to reach Ranchi at 03:30 hours on the next day.

The special train will stop at Sultanganj, Jamalpur and Abhaipur stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class and Sleeper class accommodations.

08610: Ranchi – Bhagalpur Shravani Mela Special will leave Ranchi at 23:00 hours. on every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday between 12.07.2025 & 11.08.2025 (14 trips) to reach Bhagalpur at 13:05 hours on the next day;

08609: Bhagalpur – Ranchi Shravani Mela Special will leave Bhagalpur at 13:45 hours on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday between 13.07.2025 & 12.08.2025 (14 trips) to reach Ranchi at 03:50 hours on the next day.

The special train will stop at Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Abhaipur, Jasidih, Madhupur and Chittaranjan stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class and Sleeper class accommodations.

• Temporary Stoppages of trains during Shravani Mela –

Railway has decided to provide temporary stoppages of following trains at Manjhauligram Halt and Hardas Bigha Stations in Danapur Division over East Central Railway during Shravani Mela with effect from 11.07.2025 to 10.08.2025:

63209: Deoghar – Patna MEMU (arr.- 12:04/dep.-12:05) will stop at Manjhauligram Halt station.

13402: Danapur – Bhagalpur Intercity Express (arrival – 17:21 / departure – 17:23) will stop at Hardas Bigha station.

13401: Bhagalpur – Danapur Intercity Express (arrival – 09:52 / departure – 09:54) will stop at Hardas Bigha station.

• 03 (Three) more Special Trains to run during Shravani Mela –

To clear the expected rush of passengers, Shravani Mela special trains between Asansol & Jaynagar, Deoghar & Raxaul and Sahebganj & Danapur during Shravani Mela. This special trains will offer additional capacity and flexibility to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the Mela period.

05597: Jaynagar – Asansol Shravani Mela Special will leave Jaynagar at 21:00 hours. on every Friday, Sunday and Tuesday between 11.07.2025 & 08.08.2025 (13 trips) to reach Asansol at 11:30 hours on the next day;

05598: Asansol –Jaynagar Shravani Mela Special will leave Asansol at 13:00 hours on every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday between 12.07.2025 & 09.08.2025 (13 trips) to reach Jaynagar at 06:00 hours on the 3rd day.

The special train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih and Simultala stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class non-reserved compartments.

05545: Raxaul – Deoghar Shravani Mela Special will leave Raxaul at 00:30 hours. on every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday between 13.07.2025 & 08.08.2025 (12 trips) to reach Deoghar at 16:50 hours on the same day;

05546: Deoghar- Raxaul Shravani Mela Special will leave Deoghar at 17:50 hours on every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday between 13.07.2025 & 08.08.2025 (12 trips) to reach Raxaul at 11:40 hours on the next day.

The special train will stop at Banka, Barahat, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur and Abhaipur stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class non-reserved compartments.

03236: Danapur – Sahebganj Shravani Mela Special will leave Danapur at 05:20 hours. on every Sunday between 13.07.2025 & 10.08.2025 (05 trips) to reach Sahebganj at 15:25 hours on the same day;

03235: Sahebganj – Danapur Shravani Mela Special will leave Sahebganj at 16:25 hours on every Sunday between 13.07.2025 & 10.08.2025 (05 trips) to reach Danapur at 03:15 hours on the next day.

The special train will stop at Magra, Pirpainti, Kahalgaon, Ekchari, Ghogha, Bhagalpur, Akbarnagar, Sultanganj, Bariarpur, Jamalpur, Dharhara, Abhaipur and Kajra stations over Eastern Railway jurisdiction in both directions enroute. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and AC- Chair Car   accommodations.
