CRC Screens ‘Taare Zameen Par’ for Children with Disabilities, Spreads Message of Awareness and Inclusion
Jaipur : The Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, located in Jamdoli, Jaipur, organized a special screening of the film “Taare Zameen Par” at PVR Cinemas on Wednesday. The event was held under the directive of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India, and saw enthusiastic participation from children with disabilities, who enjoyed the film immensely.
Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment and Chief Guest Shri Avinash Gehlot emphasized the importance of fostering acceptance and equality for persons with disabilities in society. He appreciated CRC Jaipur’s innovative initiative, stating that such events play a key role in promoting a positive attitude and inclusivity in the community.
Additional Director Shri Kesar Lal Meena, attending as the special guest, praised the services being provided by CRC Jaipur and assured the Centre of continued support from the administration.
CRC Jaipur Director Shri Neeraj Madhukar noted that the event was not just about entertainment, but a meaningful step towards raising awareness, building empathy, and moving toward an inclusive society. He acknowledged the financial support extended by philanthropist Haji Rukhsar Ahmed, which contributed to the success of the program.
Special children and their parents from various organizations attended the screening, including representatives from the Support Foundation for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Rajasthan Blind Welfare Association, and the Mental Disability Home, Jamdoli.
