Mumbai Ultra Marathon 2025: Running for a Cause, Racing for Hope
12-Hour Charity Run and Blood Donation Drive to Support Pediatric Cancer Patients at Tata Memorial Hospital
Mumbai is gearing up for yet another edition of its most compassionate endurance event — the Mumbai Ultra Marathon 2025 – The 12 Hour Run. Scheduled for Friday, 15th August 2025, this 100% charity-driven event aims to raise funds for pediatric cancer and thalassemia patients undergoing treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital through the ImPaCCT Foundation.

The announcement was made by Mr. Naveen Hegde, Head of the Mumbai Ultra Organising Team, in an exclusive conversation with Maverick News 30, the event’s official digital partner. “Since its inception in 2014, Mumbai Ultra has always stood for wellness, community spirit, and hope,” Mr. Hegde said. “The 12-Hour Run is more than a physical feat—it’s a movement to bring attention to childhood cancer care and to empower the tireless efforts of the ImPaCCT Foundation.”

The Mumbai Ultra has been associated with Tata Memorial Hospital since 2017, offering unwavering support to the pediatric wing and building awareness around the curability of childhood cancers. The event’s theme, Wellness over Illness, underlines a powerful message of resilience, hope, and action.
