Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Visits Madrid’s Renowned Prado Museum

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Prado Museum in Madrid—one of the world’s most prestigious art museums on the first day of his Spain visit. He praised the museum’s magnificent collection and its cultural significance, describing both Spain and India as nations deeply committed to preserving cultural heritage.

CM Dr. Yadav remarked that the Prado Museum is not just a destination for art lovers but also a powerful platform for education, art conservation, and global cultural dialogue. He called the museum a living symbol of Spain’s rich cultural identity and historic artistic tradition.

Founded in 1819 in Madrid, the Prado Museum is renowned for its vast collection of European art, featuring masterpieces from the 12th to the early 20th centuries. Chief Minister Yadav closely observed priceless paintings by Spanish, Italian and Flemish artists. He showed particular interest in the timeless works of legendary painters such as Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, El Greco, Hieronymus Bosch, Peter Paul Rubens and Titian.
