CM Dr. Yadav Holds One-on-One Discussions with Investors in Madrid

One-on-one meetings between Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Spanish investors in Madrid on the first day of his visit to Spain have boosted investment prospects in Madhya Pradesh. Several investors have expressed a firm intention to invest in the state. These meetings involved detailed discussions on the vast investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, with a special interest shown in industrial development, infrastructure, tourism, energy and other emerging sectors.

The CEO of Nature Bio Foods (a subsidiary of LT Foods Limited) discussed the potential establishment of an organic food and value-added product unit in Madhya Pradesh with an estimated investment of Rs. 200 crore. This investment will promote farmer participation, job creation and export-oriented production.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also met with Mr. Jose Luis de Mora Gil-Gallardo, Senior Executive Vice President (Corporate Development) of the Santander Group. Although the Santander Group does not have a direct presence in India, it has been participating in finance, trade services, and projects related to India. The discussion focused on potential cooperation with Madhya Pradesh in financing infrastructure projects, strengthening trade & investment flows and exploring innovation-based financial solutions.

Representatives of the MOEVE Group, Mr. Carlos Diaz and Ms. Pilar Cienfuegos from the Biofuels Business Unit, expressed interest in potential partnerships in the fields of green hydrogen, 2G biofuels (sustainable aviation fuels), and chemicals. The company is exploring the possibility of securing long-term feedstock supply with local agents and establishing production plants.

Mr. Saeed Istambouli, Corporate Business Director of Grupo Gransolar S.L., discussed the prospects of investing in solar energy projects in the state. Gransolar, which operates in over 30 countries, has sought NTPC’s approval for implementing two projects in collaboration with Infracon in Barethi, Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Manish Jain, CEO and Partner of Aero GyroCopter Spain S.A., met with the Chief Minister to discuss potential investment in the ultralight gyrocopter series “Diamond Fly.” This system is suitable for sectors such as defense, emergency services, tourism, logistics and agriculture. The discussion included possible locations, government subsidies, tax benefits and aviation infrastructure.

Mr. Diwakar Gandhi, Co-Founder and Co-Head of the Center for Entertainment Arts, discussed the establishment of a global AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics) skilling company in the state. The meeting also involved detailed deliberations on the incentives offered under MP’s AVGC policy, skill development, youth employment and strengthening the digital media industry. The group’s CFO, Mr. Fehmi, also participated in the investment discussion.

These meetings have laid a strong foundation for attracting investment across diverse sectors in Madhya Pradesh, which is likely to accelerate the state’s economic growth and employment generation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged the investors to visit Madhya Pradesh at least once to witness the promising investment opportunities firsthand.
