“Sports Foster Social Harmony and National Unity” – Assembly Speaker Devnani Inaugurates United Football Academy Building

Jaipur : Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani emphasized that participation in sports is essential for the physical and mental development of youth. He stated that sports play a pivotal role in promoting social harmony and national unity. Engaging in sports gives wings to the dreams of the youth and instills in them the spirit of perseverance and resilience, regardless of wins or losses.

On Monday, Shri Devnani inaugurated the newly constructed residential football academy of Rajasthan United Football Club located on Renwal Manji Road. He cut the ceremonial ribbon, lit the inaugural lamp, toured the facility, and personally interacted with the football players to encourage them.

Shri Devnani expressed confidence that the academy would become a milestone in Rajasthan’s football journey, contributing significantly to the development of the sport in the state. He appreciated the initiative as a commendable step toward realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Khelo India – Badhao India.”

Highlighting the importance of inclusive participation, he remarked,

“On the sports field, it’s not just young players who run—it’s the bright future of New India.”

He described football as a historic sport and called upon Rajasthan’s energetic players to bring both the state and the nation to the forefront of global football. The Speaker assured that the Rajasthan government is fully committed to supporting sports development at every level. He stressed the need to identify and nurture talent, noting that this academy can play a vital role in producing new champions.
