Asian African Pacific Powerlifting Championship Gold Medalist Ms. Nami Rai Parekh Meets Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai

Raipur, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai met with Ms. Nami Rai Parekh, the gold medalist of the Asian African Pacific Powerlifting Championship, at his residence office today.

Ms. Nami Rai Parekh, a resident of Raipur, informed the Chief Minister that the Asian African Pacific Powerlifting Championship was organized by the Asian Powerlifting Association in Himeji, Japan, from July 5 to 13. She won the gold medal in the 57 kg deadlift category during the championship.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai congratulated Ms. Nami Rai Parekh on winning the gold medal at the championship. He praised her hard work and dedication, saying that she has brought great pride to Chhattisgarh. He also expressed his belief that her remarkable achievement will inspire the daughters of the state to excel in sports and bring further laurels to Chhattisgarh.
