Deputy CM Diya Kumari Meets Lok Sabha Speaker in New Delhi — Discusses Public Interest Issues with Union Home Minister and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways

Jaipur, Aug 2025 – Deputy Chief Minister Mrs. Diya Kumari on Thursday met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation Amit Shah, and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, holding detailed discussions on development and public interest issues related to Rajasthan.

The Deputy CM said that she had an in-depth conversation with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on several important topics. She noted that engaging in dialogue with Mr. Birla on strengthening democracy and addressing public interest issues is always inspiring. “His thoughts and his perspective on national interests provide positive guidance and motivation,” she said.

After a courtesy meeting with Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the Deputy CM stated that they discussed various current and public interest matters in detail. “His experience and insights offered valuable and inspiring guidance,” she added.

Mrs. Kumari also met Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, where they discussed in detail various national highway projects and matters related to greenfield expressways in the state. She said that Mr. Gadkari gave positive assurances on all points discussed. “His visionary thinking, commitment to Rajasthan’s development, and assurance of cooperation between the central and state governments are truly motivating,” she said.
