“Get 300 Units Free Monthly with Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Scheme!”

The Government of India has set a target of installing solar panels on the roofs of one crore houses in the country under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, up to 300 units of free electricity will be provided per month. Along with this, a maximum subsidy of up to Rs 78000 and loan at cheap interest will also be provided. The district in-charge of CREDA said that under this scheme, urban local bodies and panchayats will also be encouraged to promote solar systems on the roof in their jurisdiction. He said that the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme will generate more income, less electricity and new employment and awareness will increase towards renewable energy sources. He said that under the grant received by the beneficiaries for installing solar panels on the roofs, a grant of Rs 30 thousand to Rs 60 thousand will be provided if the capacity of the rooftop solar plant is 01 to 02 kilowatts and 0 to 150 units of electricity is consumed. Similarly, a grant of 60 thousand to 78 thousand rupees will be provided for the capacity of rooftop solar plant of 2 to 3 kilowatts and consumption of 150 to 300 units of electricity. Similarly, a grant of 78 thousand rupees will be provided for the capacity of rooftop solar plant of 03 kilowatts and consumption of more than 300 units of electricity.

District Incharge CREDA told that for this the grant amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries. He told that the government will ensure subsidy from the subsidy given directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries to concessional bank loan. So that the beneficiaries do not face any kind of inconvenience.
