Appeals for Greater Public Participation in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign
Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Development Works Worth ₹96 Lakh in Mardapal
Raipur, Aug 2025 : Forest and Climate Change Minister Kedar Kashyap today participated in the grand Tiranga Yatra organized in Mardapal, Kondagaon district, under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from local public representatives and villagers, with 200 motorcycles moving in procession, raising patriotic slogans. On this occasion, the minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development projects worth ₹96 lakh for the residents of the region.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Kashyap urged villagers to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and paid homage to the great freedom fighters of the nation. He said that our forefathers sacrificed their lives for India’s independence, and it is important to convey the significance of this freedom to the younger generation so that they maintain the country’s unity with pride and vigilance. He emphasized teaching patriotism in schools and providing students with knowledge about topics of national importance and key historical dates.
The minister also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047, stressing that achieving it requires collective participation. He reaffirmed that, under PM Modi’s leadership, the government is working with full commitment for the development of the state, guided by the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (Together with all, development for all).
During the program, Minister Kashyap announced several development initiatives, including the sanctioning of a high school in Hatkali village; hand pumps in Malnar, Mangwal, and Changre villages; a mobile tower in Khodsanar; construction of Devgudi structures in Khandam, Cherang, Manjhipara (Puspal), and Tekapal; a middle school in Chamai; and musical instruments for Eklavya School Kanga and Kanya Higher Secondary School.
The ₹96 lakh worth of projects inaugurated and launched include:
- Construction of forest guard residential quarters in Lakhpuri at a cost of ₹5.47 lakh
- Construction of range officer’s office building in Mardapal for ₹15.32 lakh
- Construction of forest ranger’s residential quarters in Golavand for ₹8.05 lakh
- Stop dam construction at Hungwa Nala for ₹15.30 lakh
- Two culverts in Mulnar for ₹13.98 lakh
- Market shed, CC road, and garbage disposal facility in Kormel for ₹23.51 lakh
- Culvert construction in Hasalnar for ₹6.99 lakh
The event was also addressed by former MLA Sevkaram Netam, district panchayat member Yashoda Kashyap, and Janpad president Anita Korram. Present on the occasion were Janpad Panchayat vice-president Tomendra Thakur, local public representatives, the district panchayat CEO, departmental officials and staff, along with a large number of villagers.
