Parliamentary Affairs Minister Releases Dr. Sweta Sharma’s Book Bharat Ka Rashtriya Andolan

Jaipur, Aug 2025 : Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel on Tuesday released the book Bharat Ka Rashtriya Andolan at the Civil Lines State Residence. Authored by Dr. Sweta Sharma, Assistant Professor of History at S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. (Autonomous) College, Jaipur, the work captures the immortal saga of India’s independence in moving words.

Congratulating Dr. Sharma, Shri Patel described the freedom struggle as a great story of human courage and unwavering determination. He said it embodies the spirit of freedom, the power of unity, and the tale of priceless sacrifice. It is the story of a struggle in which ordinary people stood firm to realize the dream of liberating the motherland. He called India’s National Movement an unforgettable journey through the nation’s fight for independence.

Dr. Sharma shared that the book narrates key events, movements, and sacrifices from the First War of Independence in 1857 to the Partition of 1947, in simple, vivid, and inspiring language. The aim, she said, is to instill in readers—especially the youth—a sense of pride in India’s glorious history, an understanding of the cost of freedom, and a feeling of responsibility toward the nation’s future.

Marking this special occasion in Dr. Sharma’s life, Sheraram Pawad, Deputy Sarpanch of Dhawa Panchayat in Luni Assembly constituency, Jodhpur, and the author’s son, Kushagra, were also present.
