Special Camps under ‘Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan’ from August 18 to September 23
Jaipur, Aug 2025 : In line with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s vision, the Jaipur district administration will organize special camps under the ‘Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan’ from August 18 to September 23, 2025. These camps aim to support persons with disabilities and senior citizens by distributing artificial limbs and assistive devices.
District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has instructed officials to ensure that every eligible beneficiary receives the prescribed relief. He also appealed to all beneficiaries to attend the designated camps and avail themselves of the facilities.
Benefits for Beneficiaries
As per Social Justice and Empowerment Department officials, in the first phase, identification camps will be organized at panchayat samiti headquarters, followed by camps at municipal bodies in the second phase. Beneficiaries will be provided with tricycles, wheelchairs, calipers, walking sticks, back and knee belts, cervical collars, crutches, walkers, tripods, hearing aids, artificial dentures, and spectacles as per individual requirements.
Medical certification and identification of beneficiaries will be carried out by the Health Department and ALIMCO during the camps. To ensure smooth execution, sub-divisional officers, municipal commissioners, deputy commissioners, executive officers of municipalities, and block social security officers have been appointed as nodal officials.
Camp Schedule
The camps will begin on August 18 at Sambar Lake Panchayat Samiti and continue across different locations including Govindgarh (Aug 19), Jamwa Ramgarh (Aug 20), Bassi & Chaksu (Aug 21), Sanganer (Aug 29), Jhotwara (Sept 1), Amer (Sept 3), Jalsu (Sept 4), Shahpura (Sept 8), Chomu & Dudu municipal councils (Sept 9), Bagru (Sept 11), Mansarovar & Jagatpura (Sept 12), Malviya Nagar & Sanganer (Sept 17), Civil Lines & Kishanpole (Sept 18), Hawa Mahal & Amer (Sept 19), and Adarsh Nagar (Sept 23).
Monitoring and Coordination
Dr. Soni will personally monitor the progress of the campaign. Additional District Magistrate Devendra Kumar Jain has been assigned overall supervision. Joint Directors and Deputy Directors of the Social Justice Department will oversee camps in both rural and urban areas.
The camps are being organized with the cooperation of the Departments of Social Justice, Education, Women and Child Development, Health, and Panchayati Raj to ensure that no eligible person with disability or senior citizen is left out.
