Deputy CM Diya Kumari Offers Prayers at Neelkanth Mahadev Temple in Kumbhalgarh Fort, Interacts Warmly with Tourists

Jaipur, Aug 2025 : Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Monday visited the ancient Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, located within the historic Kumbhalgarh Fort premises in Rajsamand district, after chairing a meeting of the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit. On the occasion, she offered water on the Shivling and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state and its people.

Following the darshan, the Deputy CM interacted warmly with tourists present at the temple complex. During the interaction, she affectionately asked a little girl whether she knew about Maharana Pratap, to which the child enthusiastically replied, “Yes.”

Diya Kumari praised the child’s mother and encouraged her, saying that it is important to teach children about India’s history, culture, and great personalities. She also blessed the little girl with affection.

Her simplicity and warmth left a strong impression on both locals and tourists. They remarked that her approachable and humble demeanor reflected her deep respect and sensitivity towards Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage.
