District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni Reviews Health Schemes
Jaipur, Aug 2025 :A meeting of the District Health Committee was held on Saturday at the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni to review the progress of various health programs and schemes being implemented in the district. The meeting was attended by Chief Medical and Health Officer-I Dr. Ravi Shekhawat, Chief Medical and Health Officer-II Dr. Manish Mittal, along with officers from the Medical Department and representatives of related departments.
While reviewing the progress of the Saksham Jaipur Abhiyan, Dr. Soni directed that the maximum number of people should benefit from health camps and that NCD screening stalls must be set up in these camps for medical check-ups. He also instructed officials to ensure screening and treatment of children under the RBSK program.
During the discussion on seasonal disease prevention, the Collector emphasized the need for regular anti-larvae activities. The meeting highlighted timely portal entries under the MNDY and MNJY schemes, stronger implementation of the NCD program, coordination with municipal bodies under the COTPA Act, improvements in ANC registration in backward blocks, and special focus on regular inspections and decoy operations under the PCPNDT scheme.
Under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, it was informed that with the support of ICMR, a special campaign will be conducted in Jaipur-II district to screen TB patients. Detailed insights were shared by Dr. Kalika Gupta and Dr. Srishti Jain. Discussions were also held on data entry in the IHIP portal, institutional deliveries, immunization, family welfare programs, JSY, Rajshree, Lado, ABHA ID, Maa Voucher, Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, Anemia Mukt Rajasthan, and e-KYC.
Dr. Soni instructed all officers to ensure timely and coordinated implementation of these programs so that their benefits reach the maximum number of citizens.
