Important Meeting between Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai and ATCA Delegation in Seoul

Discussions Held on Investment Opportunities in the State
Knowledge and Investment Partnership with ICCK under Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30

Raipur, Aug 2025 : During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met in Seoul with the Chairman of the Advanced Technology Center Association (ATCA), Shri Lee Jae Jeong, and senior officials. ATCA is a powerful industrial network comprising over 60 leading companies in IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.

Welcoming the ATCA delegation, the Chief Minister said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to providing a conducive environment for investors. He invited Shri Lee Jae Jeong and his accompanying senior officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming India tour to witness firsthand the investment and partnership opportunities available in the state.

ATCA expressed interest in B2B partnerships with companies in Chhattisgarh. Shri Sai highlighted that the state is home to premier institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, and AIIMS, which provide world-class talent. He added that Chhattisgarh’s “plug-and-play” infrastructure and robust logistics network make it a natural hub for ATCA’s R&D centers and expansion plans in India.

The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is developing rapidly, offering industry-friendly policies, abundant natural resources, skilled human resources, and strong infrastructure. He encouraged ATCA companies to invest in emerging sectors like IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles, emphasizing that such investments would generate large-scale employment for the state’s youth while strengthening local industries.

During his visit, Shri Sai also participated in the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program held in Seoul, organized in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). On this occasion, he said that Chhattisgarh is a land of immense opportunities for South Korean companies. He noted that South Korea is among India’s top three steel export destinations and, as India’s leading steel-producing state, Chhattisgarh is ready to deepen this collaboration and offer new avenues of investment.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Chhattisgarh is rich in mineral resources crucial for the automobile and electronics industries. The state also holds abundant reserves of lithium, which will boost the electric vehicle (EV) revolution and next-generation industries. He stated that Chhattisgarh has the potential to become a natural hub for the global energy transition.

On this occasion, Shri Sai announced the inclusion of ICCK as a Knowledge Partner under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30. He said that under this policy, new directions will be set in technology, skilling, and global collaboration. He expressed confidence that the synergy between Korea’s innovation capabilities and Chhattisgarh’s resources will pave the way for a new era of development.

The Chief Minister also highlighted that the Chhattisgarh Government is providing comprehensive support to every investor—from single-window clearance to land allotment, necessary approvals, and enabling policies. He expressed confidence that the participation of South Korean companies will create new opportunities in Chhattisgarh’s industrial landscape and elevate India–Korea industrial cooperation to new heights.
