Notices Issued to Two Pesticide Retail Establishments

Irregularities Found During Surprise Inspection

Raipur, Sept 2025 : During a surprise inspection by the district-level pesticide inspectors team in Raipur, irregularities were detected at the warehouses of M/s Voyage Agro Solution Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Harika Agritech, located in Bhathagaon, Dharsiwa block. Following this, the Deputy Director of Agriculture, Raipur, issued show-cause notices to both establishments, demanding an explanation.

During the inspection, it was found that the establishments lacked price lists, stock display, display boards, record maintenance, and bill books. Consequently, both establishments were served notices under the Insecticides Act, 1968 and 1971.

To ensure the availability of quality pesticides to farmers, samples of pesticides were also collected from both establishments for testing.
