Animal Husbandry Minister Reviews Crop Damage in Pali, Orders Officials to Submit Proposals

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Animal Husbandry Minister Mr. Joraram Kumawat continued his field visits for the third consecutive day on Sunday to assess the situation arising from continuous rainfall in Sumerpur area of Pali district. He inspected the crop damage in fields along with departmental officials and public representatives. He also met villagers to understand the losses to houses and livestock, assuring the affected families of all possible assistance.

Mr. Kumawat directed revenue officials to conduct a 100% survey and promptly prepare proposals to be sent to the state government. He further instructed that in areas where reports had already been prepared, fresh surveys should be carried out and revised proposals submitted.

During discussions with farmers in Bhanwari, the Cabinet Minister assured them that compensation for losses caused by excessive rainfall would be provided at the earliest. He emphasized that officials must ensure complete and transparent crop-loss surveys.

Mr. Kumawat also noted that due to continuous rainfall, Jawai Dam, the largest in Western Rajasthan, has reached full capacity.
