CM Bhajanlal Sharma Criticizes Opposition for Wasting Assembly Time, Praises Officials for Aiding Flood-Affected People
Jaipur, Sept 2025: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the assembly exists to address the problems of the state’s eight crore citizens, but the opposition is wasting its time for cheap popularity. He emphasized that the assembly functions to find solutions to the people’s issues, and the public is observing the disruptions caused by the opposition, which they will not forgive when the time comes.
In a statement delivered in the assembly on Wednesday, Sharma said that the monsoon session was convened to highlight citizens’ problems and work toward their solutions. However, the opposition failed to raise any substantial issues that would convey the genuine voice of the people to the assembly.
Sharma further pointed out that no opposition leader or representative visited the flood-affected areas to assess the situation or console the victims. In contrast, government MPs, ministers, MLAs, and officials visited the field, inspected affected areas, and assisted the victims, wiping their tears and providing relief.
He concluded by asserting that the voice raised in the interest of the public cannot be silenced by the opposition.
