Detailed Discussion on Expanding Train Connectivity and Railway Development Projects in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Sept 2025: On Thursday, Central Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma at the Chief Minister’s residence. During the meeting, both leaders held detailed discussions on various railway projects and development works in Rajasthan.

The discussions focused on the master plan for Bharatpur Railway Station as a logistic hub, and expanding rail connectivity from Delhi to Jaisalmer, Udaipur to Jodhpur, Banswara to Delhi, and Dungarpur to Mumbai. Shri Sharma also discussed linking the Pachpadra Refinery with the railway network.

Additionally, the Chief Minister requested the Central Railway Minister to expedite the construction of railway overbridges (ROBs) and to speed up other key railway development projects in the state.
