Farmers Affected by Heavy Rainfall to Receive Immediate Relief as Directed by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma
Jaipur, Sept 2025 :Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has shown deep concern for farmers affected by the recent heavy rainfall. He has issued clear instructions to ensure that all possible relief is provided to the farmers at the earliest. In compliance with these directions, District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni instructed administrative officials to visit villages within their jurisdiction and assess the crop damage.
On Saturday, following the Collector’s orders, Sub-Divisional Officers, Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars visited rain-affected villages. During their visits, officials interacted directly with farmers in the fields, listened to their problems, and assured them that, as per the Chief Minister’s intent, the entire compensation process would be completed on priority and strictly under the prescribed rules to ensure quick relief.
Officials, along with patwaris of the concerned areas, conducted on-the-spot assessments of crop loss. Farmers were also requested to provide necessary information related to insurance or compensation within the stipulated timeframe so that relief distribution could begin promptly.
While interacting with farmers and villagers, the officials reassured them that the state government stands firmly with the farming community in all situations. Relief measures to compensate for losses caused by heavy rainfall will be carried out on priority.
