Rural and Urban Service Camps to Be Organized Across Rajasthan During Seva Parv Fortnight: Chief Secretary Directs Immediate Redressal of Citizens’ Grievances

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : A meeting was held at the Secretariat on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant to ensure the effective implementation of the Rural and Urban Service Camp campaign. The Chief Secretary announced that the service camps will be organized from September 17, coinciding with the beginning of the Seva Parv Fortnight. He instructed that all departments and urban local bodies must work in close coordination to ensure the success of these camps.

Shri Pant made it clear that no citizen should be bound by a fixed time limit at the camps. Problems must be resolved for as long as citizens are present. He emphasized daily intensive monitoring of the camps, and directed that districts showing better performance should be identified and recognized. Divisional Commissioners will prepare rankings based on problem redressal rates in their respective divisions.

He instructed officers to ensure on-the-spot resolution of problems faced by citizens attending the camps. Collectors and subordinate officials must personally inspect the camps during the initial days, gather feedback, and document success stories for dissemination through both social and traditional media.

The Chief Secretary further directed that all necessary preparations and technical support be ensured before the campaign begins. Sub-divisional officers must remain present at the camps and hold departmental review meetings. Where required, staff from other departments and technical officials should also be deployed. A control room must be established in each district, with details of the responsible officer and contact number published in local newspapers.

The Labour Department will handle tool assistance schemes, and the Disaster Management Department will manage compensation related to loss of life and livestock. The Water Resources Department will carry out drainage and dam repair works.
