Punjab government’s campaign begins to protect animals from diseases after floods

Chandigarh, Sept 2025 : Flood water has receded from many areas of Punjab, but the government’s work is still at full speed. Regarding relief and rehabilitation, the government has not shown any laxity at any level. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the entire government system is continuously working in mission mode. With the resolve that help should reach every village, every farmer and every animal rearer, the government is standing firm in the field.

24×7 control rooms are active in every district. For the first time, farmer brothers are getting direct advice from government doctors through mobile. Teams of veterinary doctors are deployed in villages, who are checking animals, treating them and delivering medicines and fodder free of cost to those in need. The government has created a system to receive daily progress reports from every district. Along with this, a special monitoring team is supervising at every level so that schemes do not remain only on paper but show effect on the ground. For the animals whose health was affected due to floods, free vaccination, Euromin lick, mineral mixture, antibiotics and silage packs are being distributed.

Chlorine tablets are being given for clean water. Green fodder, dry feed and high-quality nutrition are being supplied for animals in every village of the state. Relief camps are being set up in every village of Punjab, where panchayats, NGOs and government teams together are giving relief to animal rearers. Through three special videos on social media, people are being made aware so that no one remains deprived of information. The most important thing is that this relief is not limited only to those 2,300 villages, but wherever there is a need, help will reach there. This is the difference between other governments and the “Aam Aadmi Party government”, where every work is done for the welfare of farmers and the public.

Today the whole of Punjab is seeing that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself is leading from the front. Along with him, ministers, MLAs, and officers are all standing in the field. The entire government is visible on the ground. The way animals are being served by going village to village, and the campaign being run to save them from diseases after the floods, clearly shows that this government is working for the welfare of the people. This is not just duty, but a sincere effort to understand the sorrow of every Punjabi. With this trust, Punjab is standing again, and that too in a stronger way than before. This is the difference when the head of the government himself comes and stands in the village.

Today every Punjabi is saying from the heart — this is not a government, it is like our own government. It does not just talk, it works. And that too standing on the ground. Punjab is rising again, because the government itself is coming forward and working.
