Teachers and journalists honored in Balodabazar

Raipur, Sept 2025 : A grand Teachers and Journalists Felicitation Ceremony was organized at the Nagar Bhavan in Balodabazar on Tuesday, where Cabinet Minister Tankaram Verma attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, he felicitated teachers and journalists who have made positive contributions to society.

Minister Verma said that teachers and journalists are two strong pillars of society. While teachers build the future by imparting knowledge and guidance to students, journalists act as the voice of society, bringing people’s issues to the authorities and spreading awareness. He emphasized that recognizing and honoring their contributions is the duty of all.

Sharing memories from his student days, Minister Verma even presented a Chhattisgarhi song from the stage, which was warmly appreciated by the audience. He assured that, as a minister, continuous efforts will be made to make Balodabazar one of the leading districts of the state in the field of higher education.

On this occasion, Municipal Council President Ashok Jain, Janpad President Sulochana Yadav, former MLA Pramod Sharma, State Vice President of Bharat Scouts and Guides Vijay Kesharwani, along with a large number of public representatives, teachers, and journalists were present.
