Raipur, Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has reaffirmed that eliminating Naxalism, winning people’s trust, and moving towards development are among the foremost priorities of his government. The CM highlighted that through the Niyad Nellanar Scheme, the government is working to uplift the living standards of people in affected areas. Several villages once impacted by Naxalism have now been repopulated, and surrendered Naxalites are being rehabilitated with employment opportunities. He stressed that innocent lives were being lost due to Naxalite activities, and it is the government’s duty to protect common citizens. The government has set a target to completely eradicate Naxalism by March 31, 2026, and a Joint Task Force has already been formed to accelerate this mission.
