Telangana Government to find a permanent solution to all Dharani problems soon: CM
Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy asserted that a detailed study needs to be conducted to find a permanent solution to every problem which is being faced in the use of the Dharani portal. The Chief Minister wanted to formulate a comprehensive act in view of the increasing land ownership problems every day in the state.
The CM held a review on Dharani portal at the Secretariat on Friday evening. CM Revanth Reddy observed that the land records that were once available at the village level have been shifted to the state headquarters even from mandals and districts gradually due to the change of acts.
The Chief Minister reminded that earlier, an opportunity to appeal to resolve the land issues was given to the people. After the introduction of Dharani, all powers were delegated to the district Collectors in the place of village and mandal authorities to solve the land issues. Further, the collectors ‘ decisions have become unilateral and the land issues are not being solved in the Dharani portal.
To overcome all such challenges, the Chief Minister asked the officials to hold extensive consultations with people and seek their suggestions to address the land related disputes. An all party meeting will also be organized and seek their opinion to bring a comprehensive act.
The Revenue officials have been asked to select a Mandal where Bhudan, Poramboku, Bancharayi, Inam and Kandishika land issues have been pending and prepare a comprehensive report to get a clarity on each land related issue. The CM also said that a debate will be taken up on Dharani in the ongoing budget session of the State Assembly, if required, and take a final decision.
State Revenue Minister P Srinivasa Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Sithakka, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, State Government Advisor Kesava Rao, Chief Minister Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Former Minister Jana Reddy, Dharani Committee Members Kodanda Reddy and Sunil Kumar, Raymond Peter, Madhusudan, CCLA Naveen Mittal, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Secretary to Chief Minister V.
