Information & Public Relations Department Director Farewell in Siaha

Siaha, Sept 2025: I&PR Director Pu C Lalnunkima was bid farewell in Aizawl on behalf of the various district offices of the Information & Public Relations Department, along with staff members and members of the Mizoram Journalist Association (MJA), in a memorable ceremony.

Pu C Lalnunkima is set to retire on September 30, 2025, and the farewell was organized to honor his dedicated service and contributions across multiple districts.

On this occasion, Serchhip DIPRO Pi Lalnunmawii, Deputy Director of I&PR, conducted the farewell ceremony on behalf of the Director for the staff who had served under him. Similarly, Hnahthial DIPRO Pu F. Lalrinfela organized a gathering with Hnahthial MJA members, followed by a farewell event in Siaha.

In Siaha, DIPRO Pi K Ngosai, along with I&PR staff, hosted the farewell at the Tourist Lodge. The event, organized with Siaha MJA members, included an evening program with formal speeches and appreciation. After the ceremony in Siaha and the clearance of office quarters, Pu C Lalnunkima is scheduled to proceed to Aizawl. He has previously also served in Lawngtlai and Lunglei districts, contributing significantly to I&PR activities in those regions.
