Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade Visits Seva Bharati

Raipur, Sept 2025 : Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade visited the specialized adoption agency Seva Bharati, run by the Women and Child Development Department, during her one-day visit to Korba. She inquired about the children residing there and interacted with the Child Welfare Committee and the District Child Protection Unit to review the facilities being provided to the children. MLA Shri Premchand Patel also accompanied her during the visit.

Smt. Rajwade shared that departmental initiatives like the Mahtari Vandan Yojana have significantly benefitted women. The scheme has not only contributed to economic prosperity but has also made the path to self-reliance easier, creating an environment of well-being and happiness.

Korba Mayor Smt. Sanju Devi Rajput, DPO Smt. Renu Prakash, along with several public representatives and departmental officers, were also present on the occasion.
