CM Bhupendra Patel addresses public grievances during the State SWAGAT program for Sept 2025

Gandhinagar, Sept 2025: Launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2003, the State SWAGAT program has become an effective platform for citizens to directly raise their issues with the government and achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

During the September State SWAGAT program, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel provided yet another example of his dedication to prioritising citizens’ issues and ensuring their swift resolution.

A 94-year-old woman submitted a representation to the Chief Minister during the program regarding her entitled pension. Moved by her heartfelt plea, the Chief Minister ly directed the District Collector to ensure her pension is disbursed without delay.

CM further highlighted that the government remains attentive to every citizen’s issues. Senior citizens are a source of pride for society, and the state government is always dedicated to ensuring their well-being.

Furthermore, He directed district-level officers to listen to public representations attentively and to prioritise the resolution of grievances from underprivileged, concerned, and elderly citizens.

CM instructed the District Collector to ly ensure fair measurement and compensation for the fields of seven farmers in Valsad district, demonstrating compassion towards the farmers.

Moreover, CM directed the district administration to address unauthorised encroachments on public spaces and to maintain a citizen-friendly approach in resolving land measurement issues.

During the State SWAGAT program on 25th September, more than 115 applicants from across the state attended. CM personally heard about 14 presentations and directed the concerned departments and district-level officers to take appropriate action.

Necessary action has also been taken on the representations received during the district and taluka SWAGAT programs, with 1,321 applications received at the district level and 2,616 at the taluka level.

Present at the state-level SWAGAT program were Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri M.K. Das, Secretary Dr Vikrant Pandey, OSDs to the Chief Minister Shri Dhiraj Parikh and Shri Rakesh Vyas, along with senior officials from the concerned departments.
