New Delhi: Sept 2025 : On the fifth day of the ongoing Sanatan Sanskaram Ramleela at the DDA Ramleela Ground, Sector-23, Rohini, Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta participated as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the CM said that the Ramleelas being held across Delhi are not only inspiring society with the ideals of Lord Shri Ram through truth, service, and good governance, but are also connecting the younger generation with our great cultural traditions and moral values—giving them the motivation to build a Developed Delhi.

Chairman of the Delhi Government’s Ramleela Committee and Social Welfare Minister Shri Ravinder Indraj Singh expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the grand and historic celebration of Ramleelas across Delhi.

Praising the organizers and committees for this magnificent event, Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta said, “The darshan of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram and the staging of Ramleela is a living message of devotion, discipline, and righteousness. Conveying this message to the people with full dedication is a significant contribution.”

The Chief Minister further stated that linking the ongoing campaigns and social initiatives of the Seva Pakhwada, which began with the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has made the Ramleela celebrations even more special. Messages such as Vocal for Local, Cleanliness, Water Conservation, Green Delhi, and Drug-Free Delhi are being widely promoted through these programs. She emphasized that just as major religious festivals are successfully organized with public participation, the collective efforts of the people will also fulfill the vision of a Developed Delhi.

Highlighting Delhi’s historic Ramleela tradition as a cultural heritage of the capital, the Chief Minister said that all necessary arrangements have been ensured so that neither organizers nor devotees face any inconvenience.

Chairman of the Ramleela Committee and Cabinet Minister Shri Ravinder Indraj Singh thanked the Chief Minister and remarked that for the first time such a magnificent celebration of Ramleelas has taken place in Delhi, giving a new identity to the city’s centuries-old Ramleela tradition. He shared that for the first time a single-window system was implemented to streamline formalities. Provisions were made to supply 1,200 units of free electricity, reduce the security deposit for electricity connections to only 25 percent, and lower the event security fee from ₹20 to ₹15 per square meter.

He concluded by saying that “From Resolution to Accomplishment (Sankalp se Siddhi) is our identity, and under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the Delhi Government’s journey of dedicated service will continue unceasingly.”
