Tamil Nadu Creates 1.25 Million Jobs Annually, CM Stalin Highlights Industrial Growth

Chennai, Sept 2025: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that the DMK government has been generating 1.25 million jobs annually since taking office in 2021, reflecting robust industrial growth across the state.

A recent report from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) confirmed that over the past four years, Tamil Nadu has created an average of 1.25 million jobs each year. The report also highlighted that more than 5.2 million individuals have registered with the EPFO during this period, signaling significant employment growth and social security coverage for workers.

Expressing pride in these achievements, Chief Minister Stalin emphasized the importance of job creation as a key indicator of industrial development. On his social media page X, he stated, “Job creation is the best indicator of industrial growth. The DMK government is creating 1.25 million jobs annually, surpassing the 1 million jobs I promised in Trichy in 2021.”

He added that the government’s campaign to generate employment will continue with even greater vigor, aiming to further strengthen the state’s economy and provide opportunities for its workforce. The announcement underscores the DMK’s focus on industrial expansion, workforce development, and sustainable economic growth in Tamil Nadu.
